The system must process different autoinjector and tray formats on the same line. Fast and safe format changes, high process stability, and clear, traceable management of all product and tray formats were key requirements.
The machines are designed for the following autoinjectors:

- YpsoMate 2.25 ml Pro
- YpsoMate 5.5 ml
Our Solution
RoboMat developed a flexible tray handling solution with automatic tray destacking and format-dependent product infeed to the labeling station. Interchangeable format parts enable the system to process different tray geometries and autoinjector variants.
The rotation system for the autoinjectors is also designed for multiple formats. All format configurations are clearly managed and monitored in the control system, ensuring reproducible changeovers and traceable product configurations.
The system implemented for this project is designed for 50 autoinjectors per minute. The underlying RoboMat Single Label Platform can process up to 120 autoinjectors per minute, depending on the configuration.
Special Features
The platform is designed for multiple autoinjector formats and can be extended to accommodate future product variants. Standardized format parts, defined changeover procedures, and software-based format management reduce changeover effort and increase process reliability when switching frequently between products.
