High-Performance Infeed System for Pharmaceutical Packaging

High-performance pharmaceutical infeed system for automatic product handling up to 300 packs per minute

RoboMat has published a new case study featuring one of its most sophisticated automation projects.

Designed for a global pharmaceutical company, the high-performance infeed system supplies downstream packaging processes with up to 300 packs per minute.

The machine is based on a carefully engineered, stepwise material flow concept. Shipping cartons are automatically destacked and opened, product boxes are removed layer by layer, barcodes are fully verified, and robotic handling transfers the products precisely into the packaging process.

The system demonstrated exceptional performance already during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). During several extended test runs, it achieved up to 100% Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), highlighting the robustness of both the machine concept and its execution.

The new case study demonstrates RoboMat’s expertise in developing complex infeed and product handling solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
